SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION These and other objects, apparent from the following description, are achieved by a method, a system, a bus, a computer program and a computer program product, which are of the type stated by way of introduction and which in addition exhibits the features recited in the characterizing clause of the appended independent claims. Preferred embodiments of the method and the system are defined in appended dependent claims. Specifically an object of the invention is achieved by a method for securing safe departure of a bus from a bus stop from a standstill of the bus, said departure comprising an initial change of | atera | position, comprising the step of determining whether any other vehicle is approaching constituting a hazard regarding said change of | atera | position, characterized by the steps of establishing contact with an approaching vehicle within a vehicle-to-vehicle communication arrangement provided that such an arrangement is available; and, if such an arrangement is available, communicating information about the intention of the departure comprising an initial change of | atera | position; or, if such an arrangement is not available, activating a warning comprising the step of generating a projection on the ground by illumination disclosing the intended change of | atera | position associated with said departure. Hereby the risk of an accident involving an approaching vehicle is reduced in that it is ensured that the approaching vehicle gets the information, if possible via vehicle-to-vehicle communication e.g. on a display and / or via an alarm / a voice, but if this possibility does not exist, i.e. if the approaching vehicle and / or the bus is not equipped with such a communication arrangement, the 10 15 20 25 30 538 129 driver of the approaching vehicle will still receive a warning through the projection by iilumination of the Iane which is a very efficient way of getting the attention of the driver. According to an embodiment the method further comprises the steps of determining whether said approaching vehicle has perceived said information about the intention of the departure and is acting accordingly by giving way to the departing bus, and, if not, activating an emergency brake arrangement of the approaching vehicle and / or the bus in order to prevent an accident. Hereby the risk of an accident involving the approaching vehicle is further reduced and can thus be avoided even if the driver does not react to the warning. According to an embodiment the method further comprises the step of determining if legal conditions for approaching vehicles to give way for the departing bus exist, and, if said vehicle-to-vehicle communication arrangement is available, the step of communicating information about the intention of the departure comprising an initial change of lateral position comprises information about the obligation of giving way for the departing bus, and if said vehicle-to-vehicle communication arrangement is not available, the step of activating a warning comprising the step of generating a projection on the ground by iilumination disclosing the intended change of lateral position associated with said departure comprises an instruction to give way to the bus. Hereby the risk of an accident involving an approaching vehicle is reduced in that it is ensured that the approaching vehicle gets the information including the legal conditions, if possible via vehicle-to-vehicle communication e.g. on a display and / or via an alarm / a voice, but if this possibility does not exist, i.e. if the approaching vehicle and / or the bus is not equipped with such a communication arrangement, the driver of the approaching vehicle will still receive a warning including information about the legal conditions through the projection by iilumination of the Iane which is a very efficient way of getting the attention of the driver. 10 15 20 538 129 According to an embodiment of the method the step of activating an emergency brake arrangement is applied to the approaching vehicle if legal conditions for approaching vehicles to give way for the departing bus exist. Hereby the risk of an accident involving the approaching vehicle is further reduced and can thus be avoided even if the driver does not react to the warning. A method according to claim 1, further comprising the steps of determining whether said approaching vehicle (2) has perceived said information about the intention of the departure and is acting accordingly by giving way to the departing bus (1), and, if not, activating an emergency brake arrangement of the approaching vehicle (2) and/or the bus (1) in order to prevent an accident. [3] 3. A method according to claim 1 or 2, comprising the step of determining if legal conditions for approaching vehicles (2) to give way for the departing bus exist, and, if said vehicle-to-vehicle communication arrangement (V2V) is available, the step of communicating (S3) information about the intention of the departure comprising an initial change of lateral position comprises information about the obligation of giving way for the departing bus (1), and if said vehicle-to-vehicle communication arrangement (V2V) is not available, the step of activating a warning comprising the step of generating a projection (P) on the ground by illumination disclosing the intended change of 21 538 129 lateral position associated with said departure comprises an instruction to give way to the bus (1). [4] 4. A method according to claim 3, wherein the step of activating an emergency brake arrangement is applied to the approaching vehicle (2) if legal conditions for approaching vehicles to give way for the departing bus (1) exist. [5] 5. A system (I) for securing safe departure of a bus (1) from a bus stop (H) from a standstill of the bus (1), said departure comprising an initial change of lateral position, comprising means (110) for determining whether any other vehicle is approaching constituting a hazard regarding said change of lateral position, characterized by means (120) for establishing contact with an approaching vehicle (2) within a vehicle-to-vehicle communication arrangement (V2V) provided that such an arrangement is available; and, if such an arrangement is available, means (130) for communicating information about the intention of the departure comprising an initial change of lateral position; or, if such an arrangement is not available, means (140) for activating a warning comprising means (142) for generating a projection (P) on the ground by illumination disclosing the intended change of lateral position associated with said departure. [6] 6. A system according to claim 5, further comprising means (150) for determining whether said approaching vehicle (2) has perceived said information about the intention of the departure and is acting accordingly by giving way to the departing bus (1), and means (160) for activating an emergency brake arrangement of the approaching vehicle (2) and/or the bus (1) in order to prevent an accident, if said approaching vehicle (2) has perceived said information. [7] 7. A system according to claim 5 or 6, comprising means (170) for determining if legal conditions for approaching vehicles (2) to give way for the departing bus (1) exist, and, if said vehicle-to-vehicle communication 22 538 129 arrangement (V2V) is available, said means (130) for communicating information about the intention of the departure comprising an initial change of lateral position comprises information about the obligation of giving way for the departing bus (1), and if said vehicle-to-vehicle communication arrangement (V2V) is not available, said means (140) for activating a warning comprising means (142) for generating a projection (P) on the ground by illumination disclosing the intended change of lateral position associated with said departure comprises an instruction to give way to the bus (1). [8] 8. A system according to claim 7, wherein the means (160) for activating an emergency brake arrangement is applied to the approaching vehicle if legal conditions for approaching vehicles to give way for the departing bus exist. [9] 9. A bus (1) comprising a system (I) according to any of claims 5-8. [10] 10. A computer program (P) for securing safe departure of a bus from a bus stop from a standstill of the bus, said computer program (P) comprising program code which, when run on an electronic control unit (100) or another computer (500) connected to the electronic control unit (100), causes the electronic control unit to perform the steps according to claim 1-4. [11] 11. A computer program product comprising a digital storage medium storing the computer program according to claim 10. 23 538 129 I foljande bilaga finns en oversattning av patentkraven till svenska. Observera att det r patentkravens lydelse pa engelska som gaiter. A Swedish translation of the patent claims is enclosed. Please note that only the English claims have legal effect.
